Seed the bracket however you like - draw names from a cup for a fair random draw, or seed by past results so the two best teams meet in the final. For the full ruleset, table setup and re-rack rules, see our Beer Pong guide.

How to use this printable

  • Print the bracket size that matches your player count (8 teams or 16 teams). For odd numbers, give the strongest team or two a first-round bye into round two.
  • Write one team name per slot in the first column. Draw names from a cup for a random seeding, or seed by skill so top teams are kept apart.
  • After each game, write the winning team on the connecting line in the next round. Keep advancing winners until the Final.
  • Decide your match format before you start - single game, or best-of-three for the semifinals and final - and whether you play Beer Pong re-racks and rebuttals.

FAQ

How many teams does a beer pong bracket need?
This printable comes in an 8-team and a 16-team single-elimination grid. If your entry count is not a power of two, give the top seeds a first-round bye so the numbers work out - for example, with 12 teams, four teams get a bye and eight play the first round.
How does a single-elimination beer pong tournament work?
Every team is placed in a starting slot. Winners advance to the next round and losers are out. You keep playing until two teams meet in the final, and the winner of that game is the champion. It is the fastest tournament format for a party.
Should we play best-of-one or best-of-three?
Best-of-one keeps a big bracket moving quickly, which is ideal for 16 teams. Many hosts switch to best-of-three for just the semifinals and final so the tournament ends on a proper showdown rather than a single lucky game.
