How to use this printable
- Before you set off, agree your route and write the pub or venue name next to each hole (or keep the printed drinks).
- At each hole, count how many gulps (strokes) it takes each player to finish their drink, and write that number in their column.
- The par is the target number of gulps. Add penalty strokes for house rules - for example, +1 for spilling or for putting your drink down.
- Total each player's column at the end. The lowest score wins the round. Keep water going between holes and know your limit.

How does a pub golf scorecard work?
Each hole is a pub and a drink with a set par (target number of gulps). Players count how many gulps it takes to finish each drink and write that number down as their strokes. Add any penalty strokes, total the columns at the end, and the lowest total wins - exactly like real golf.
What is par in pub golf?
Par is the target number of gulps to finish that hole's drink. A shot might be par 1, a pint par 4 or 5. Finishing in fewer gulps than par beats the hole; taking more adds strokes to your score.

This card is a standard 9-hole round, which is a sensible length for one night. You can print two cards for an 18-hole crawl, but pace yourself - nine holes is already nine drinks, so keep the pours reasonable and drink water between venues.
